In Six or Less #93 Bols (Akame Ga Kill!) DND Builds

Bols is the muscular, sweetheart of a family man with the horrendous job of incinerating whole towns for the empire. Plagued by the guilt of his actions and his belief that his Karma will eventually come back to him, he typically wears a mask to hide his face. Being assigned to General Esdeth’s newly created Jaegars has given Bols a chance to share his passion for cooking with his team members as they seek to defend the empire from the assaults of Night Raid This build of Bols is the fire-starting incinerator with the body to endure the harsh punishments from the battles that the Jaegers find themselves involved in.

Bols Stats

Str 13 Dex 14 Con 13 Int 9 Wis 8 Cha 15 (27 point buy)

Str 14 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 9 Wis 8 Cha 16 (after racial and feat mod)

Class Fighter 1/Sorcerer 5(Draconic Bloodline)

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:

1. Hale & Hardy Body.
2. Unending Fire & Flame.
3. Hidden Face of the Chef.

Background

For Background, I created a Custom Background called Incineration Squad for Bols. He gains the skills of Deception and Stealth, the Tool Proficiency of Cook’s Utensils, the Languages of Primordial, and the Background Feature of Dual Personalities from the Faceless Background.

Race

For Race, I chose Goliath for Bols. With this race, he gains + 1 to Str, Cha and Con, Little Giant, Mountain Born, and Stone’s Endurance

Class

Bols’ class breakdown is Fighter 1/Sorcerer 5 (Draconic Bloodline). It is with these classes, that Bols gains access to his incredible strength and physical frame, his ability to cook, and his fearsome firepower capable of reducing any target in his cross-hairs to cinders. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate her abilities and talents at this level.

Fighter 1 is the starting class for Bols. This class gives him the proficiencies of Perception and Survival, Fighting Style: Unarmed Fighting, and Second Wind.

Sorcerer 1 is where he starts to obtain his firepower from the power of dragons and further enhances his toughness. He gains the features of Spellcasting, Sorcerous Origin: Draconic Bloodline, Dragon Ancestor: Red Dragon and Draconic Resilience.

Sorcerer 2 is where Bols gains Font of Magic, allowing him to gain more slots to fuel his magic.

Sorcerer 3 grants Bols another way of using his Sorcery Points with the Metamagic feature. Metamagic of Distant Spell and Careful Spell ensure his ability to hit a foe at an increased range while reducing the damage he inflicts on his allies.

Sorcerer 4 gifts him with the feat Elemental Adept (Fire). This feat gives his flames the ability to ignore resistances to them as well as allows him to treat any damage roll of 1 as a 2.

Sorcerer 5 is the final level for Bols which grants him access to 3^rd Level spells such as Fireball.

With full use of Bols’ powers, he can perform the following techniques via class features and abilities:

• Purgatory’s Invitation: Rubicante- Sorcerer Fire Spells/Staff of Fire
  • Magma Drive– Distant Spell + Scorching Ray/Melf’s Minute Meteors
  • Final Resort– Fireball then next round Pyrotechnics: Smoke

This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Bols a conflagration of burning desire and burdensome guilt incinerating any target that stands in the way of the empire to protect his family and friends in Six levels or Less.
