Panda, the cursed corpse created by Masamichi Yaga, is a major supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen. Panda is the most advanced cursed corpse in existence, containing 3 cores of Panda, his brother Gorrilla and his sister Triceratops. He is a jovial and calming soul who likes to keep his mood light on a battlefield, only becoming angry when his family is threatened or his friend’s harmed. This build of Panda is him at the end of the Kyoto Goodwill Event after the battle with the special grade cursed spirit Hanami.

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:
- Three Form Fury.
- Tanking with Temporary Hit Points.
- Fearsome Fisticuffs.
Background
For Background, I chose Cloistered Scholar for Panda. He gains the skills of History and Arcana, languages of Undercommon and Deep Speech, and the Background Feature of Library Access. This represents Panda’s life as a Jujutsu sorcerer attending Tokyo Jujutsu High.
Race
For Race, I chose Shifter of the Beasthide subrace for Panda. With this race, he gains + 1 to Str, Cha and Wis, Size: Medium, Bestial Instincts: Athletics, and Darkvision. Beasthide gives Panda an additional 1d6 and +1 to his AC. This represents his second mode of Gorilla.
Class
Panda’s class breakdown is Monk 5 (Way of the Open Hand)/Warlock 1 (The Undead). It is with these classes, Panda gains access to ferociously powerful unarmed fighting potential with multiple ways to crowd control any foe, multiple abilities to gain temporary hit points in order to tank hits as well as the ability to transform into three distinct forms. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate his abilities and talents at this level.
Monk 1 is the starting class for Panda. This class gives him the skills of Insight, Acrobatic and Drum, Unarmored Defense, and Martial Arts.
Monk 2 is where he picks up the features of Ki and Unarmored Movement. These features allow him to gain a greater number of attacks, buff his defense, or increase his evasive abilities with the use of Ki as well as move an additional 10 feet faster.
Monk 3 marks the next step in Panda’s robust build with the Way of the Open Hand and Deflect Missiles. Open Hand Technique gives him the ability to knock a foe prone, push a foe back 15 feet back, or stop them from taking a reaction until the end of his next turn.
Monk 4 gifts him with the feat Crusher: +1 to Str and Slow Fall. The feat of Crusher gives Panda another way to push a foe into an unoccupied space 5 feet from himself, as well as the ability to gain an advantage if he lands a critical hit with bludgeoning damage.
Monk 5 grants Panda Extra Attack and Stunning Strike.
Warlock 1 is the final level for Panda with the features of Proficiencies of Light Armor, Otherworldly Patron: The Undead, Pact Magic, and Form of Dread. Form of Dread is where Panda picks up his third form of Triceratops.
With full use of Panda’s powers, he can perform the following techniques via class features and abilities:
- Cursed Corpse Cores –
- Panda Mode – Standard fighting mode without shifting
- Gorilla Mode – Beasthide Shifting
- Unblockable Drumming Beat– Open Hand Technique + Crusher
- Triceratops Mode – Form of Dread
This combination of feats, stats, and no spells makes this DND build of Panda tectonic terror of tremendous cursed energy rippling fearsome power through the bodies of his foes in Six levels or Less.
