Dara Gios grew up as the middle child of five to a half-elven mother and a halfling father. Being both former adventures of the realm, Dara loved hearing the stories of her parent’s experiences and tales. When she came of age she joined the local guard of her city and strived to live up to their sterling example. It wasn’t until a near-fatal encounter with a band of kobolds that she was finally noticed for her exceptional talent. She was able to survive a point-blank fireball that decimated most of her squad before being able to retaliate and slay the rogue caster. For her heroism, she was gifted the chance to train with and become one of the king’s fabled spellcasters fighters known as Witch-Hounds. With her training complete Dara Gios took her first steps into adventuring acting as both a protector of the common man and a hunter of malaligned spellcasters in the kingdom.

Class
For the Class makeup of this build, I went with Fighter 6 (Battle Master). With these classes, she becomes an incredible tactician and fighter when in the thick of battle, with fierce battlefield control options with her shield and any weapon she wields in her hand, a capable tracker of foes whether they are mundane or magical in skill, as well as her strong defenses against both blade and blast.
Fighter 1 is the beginning of Dara’s training with the skills of Athletics, Perception, Fighting Style: Blind Fighting, and Second Wind.
Fighter 2 is where she picks up the incredible feature of Action Surge. This gives her an extra Attack action that she can take in the same round.
Fighter 3 gives her the Martial Archetype: Battle Master, Combat Superiority, Student of War: Alchemist’s Supplies, Maneuvers of Sweeping Attack, Evasive Footwork, and Riposte.
Fighter 4 is the level that represents Dara’s combat focus on spellcasters with the feat of Mage Slayer.
Fighter 5 is where Dara gains the coveted feature of Extra Attack.
Fighter 6 is the last level for Dara with the feat of Sentinel.

Standard Fighter equipment of leather armor, longbow, 2 handaxes, shield, rapier. Eventually, upgrade her weapon to an adamantine and studded leather for her armor.
