Demiurge, Creator of the Blazing Inferno, is the 7th-floor guardian of Nazarick, the Defensive Combat leader of the great tomb, and second in command of the Floor Guardians. He is a heteromorphic devil created by Ulbert Alain Odle to be a cruel sadist who is responsible for the ambitious architecture of Nazaricks world-dominating scheme. He is a keen-minded ambassador who juggles a million schemes all in service to Ainz Ooal Gown. Demiurge is also skilled at a variety of skills and talents and uses them to manipulate his foes, enhance his allies and increase the power of the tomb. He is also known as Jaldabaoth the Demon Emperor, using this alter ego to garner supplies and items for the great tomb while further bolstering the fame of Ainz’s alter ego Momon the adamantine hero of the nation. Demiurge is the self-styled hand behind the throne using every trick and talent as his disposable to ensure the world domination of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

Class Bard 2/Warlock 4 (The Fiend)

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:

  1. Aspect Devil Fighting Style.
  2. Summoner of an Evil Lord.
  3. Manipulator of Nations.

Background

For Background I chose Charlatan. He gains the Skill of Deception and Sleight of Hand, Tool Proficiency of Disguise Kit and Forgery Kit, and the Background Feature of False Identity.

Race

For Race, I chose Variant Feral Tiefling. With this race he gains + 1 to Int and +2 to Dex, Darkvision, Hellish Resistance, and Variant Tiefling: Winged. The critical feature is Variant Tiefling: Winged since this gives Demiurge the ability to fly with bat-like wings.

Class

Demiurge’s class breakdown is two classes, Bard 2/Warlock 4 (The Fiend). It is with these classes that Demiurge gains access to strong buffing abilities, an inexhaustible amount of skills, access to fiendishly destructive spells, the ability to summon a powerful fiendish servant, shape-shifting abilities, respectable combat abilities, and the power to make swaths of people swoon to his words along. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate her abilities and talents at this level.

Bard 1 is the starting class for Demiurge. This gives him the skill proficiencies of Athletics, Investigation, Insight, Pan Flute, Viol and Drum, Spellcasting, and Bardic Inspiration.

Bard 2 is where he picks up Jack of All Trades and Song of Rest. The key feature at this stage of the build is Jack of All Trades since it gives him many skills to gain access to.

Warlock 1 grants him access to the power to fiendish powers the Otherworldly Patron: The Fiend. He gains Pact Magic, Expanded Spell List, and Dark One’s Blessing.

Warlock 2 is the next step in Demiurge’s progression with Eldrich Invocations: Mask of Many Faces and Repelling Blast. Repelling Blast will be switched out to Investment of the Chain Master in a level.

Warlock 3 is where she gains to his ability to summon forth a demon lord with Pact Boon: Pact of the Chain and 2nd-level spells. It is with this feature that he is able to summon a number of powerful familiars to assist him in his plots.

Warlock 4 is the final level for Demiurge with the feat of Fighting Initiate: Unarmed Fighting. This feat grants him the ability to mimic a wide variety of his Aspect of the Devil techniques, increasing his melee damage in a fight.

With full use of Demiurge’s powers he can perform the following techniques via job features and abilities:

  • Flames of Gehenna-Heroism spell
  • Hell Flame– Scorching Ray
  • Hellfire Wall– Silent Image
  • Aspect of the Devil: Hellfire Mantel– Thunderwave spell
  • Aspect of the Devil: Archdemon’s Wrist– Fighting Initiate: Unarmed Fighting
  • Aspect of the Devil: Tentacle Wings– Eldritch Blast and Devil Wings
  • Aspect of the Devil: Stout Demon’s Gigantic Arms– Fighting Initiate: Unarmed Fighting
  • Aspect of the Devil: Eight-limb of Speed– Expeditious Retreat
  • Command Mantra- Enthrall and Command Spell
  • Evil Lord Summons– Pact of the Chain
  • Frost of Judecca– Frostbite Cantrip

This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Demiurge a puppet master of the new world, pulling the strings with fiendish glee as he aids in conquering Naazarick’s foes in Six levels or Less.
