Nathara first memories are those dwelling in a verdant garden surrounded by fantastical creatures and plaques that broadcasted magical illusions. The guardian of this garden was a sentient illusion that trained her in the arts of espionage as well as martial, teaching her to use her native abilities in exercises that broadcasted through each plaque. Eventually, her training was completed and she was gifted with a yew wood staff, equipment, and strong geas to travel east, and infiltrate an adventurer’s guild in order to conquer a kingdom from within. With the magic’s purpose now complete the garden darkened, releasing the magical beast into the world leaving a memory-affecting mist that shrouded her training grounds from all. Now Nathara travels to fulfill the geas, plying all of her talents in order to free herself and subvert a kingdom.

- Mistress of Subterfuge
- Nimble Martial Artist.
- Femme Fatality.
Background
For Background, I chose Far Traveler for Nathara. This gives her the skills of Perception and Stealth, the Tool Proficiencies of Flute, and the Background Feature of All Eyes on You.
Class
For the Class makeup of this build, I went with Bard 4(College of Whispers)Monk 2. With these classes, she gains the ability to move the emotions of her target as well as manipulate the hearts and minds of her foes with the skills of a skilled surgeon. She is highly trained in a variety of skills, yet she is able to unleash strong damage potential from her martial skill with a quarterstaff as well as her spells. Combined with her racial abilities Nathara can use sticks, stones, and words to break her foes.
Bard 1 is the beginning of this build with the skills of Hand Drum, Lyre, Shawm, Acrobatics, Religion and Persuasion, Spellcasting, and Bardic Inspiration.
Monk 1 is where Nathara gains the features of Unarmored Defense and Martial Arts.
Monk 2 grants her Ki and Unarmored Movement.
Bard 2 continues her training with the features Jack of All Trades and Song of Rest.
Bard 3 brings Nathara to her destined path with the Bardic College of Whispers as well as Expertise in Deception and Stealth. College of Whispers gives her Psychic Blades and Words of Terror, allowing her to deal psychic damage to foes as well as sowing fear into any humanoid.
Bard 4 is the final level for this build with the feat Polearm Master. This allows her to gain a bonus attack as well as the ability to strike foes that come into her range.
