Fraudrin is an elite fighter of the Demon Clan who became a replacement member for the Demon King’s Ten Commandments. He fought during the war from 3000 years ago along with the rest of the Ten Commandments but was sealed separately from them. He eventually was found and used his power to take over the body of Dreyfus. Now he wields the powers of a demon and a great holy knight in order to bring about destruction to his foes.
Fraudrin/Dreyfus Stats
Str 13 Dex 12 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 12 Cha 14 (27 point buy)
Str 13 Dex 12 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 12 Cha 16 (after racial and feat mod)
Class Warlock 1 (The Fathomless)/ Cleric 5 (Nature Domain)
The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:
- Giant Size Power.
- Break and Pierce.
- Launching foes with Swords.
Background
For Background, I chose Soldier for the dual. You gain the skills Athletics, Insight, Tool Proficiencies of Vehicles (Land), and Dice Set with the Background Feature of Military Rank.
Race
For the race, I chose Custom Lineage since he is a blend of Demon Clan and Human. With this race you get +2 to Cha, Feat: Charger, Darkvision, and the language Infernal.
Class
Fraudrin’s class breakdown is a combination of three classes, Warlock 1(The Hexblade)/Paladin 2/Fighter 3(Rune Knight). It is with these classes that he gains the ability to grow to giant size, most of his Break techniques, and his sword-fighting techniques. This combination of classes is the best attempt to consolidate his abilities and talents at this level.
Warlock 1 (Hexblade) is the beginning level for Fraudrin’s build. With this level, he gains Deception, Intimidation, Pact Magic, Hexblade’s Curse, and Hex Warrior. Hex Warrior gives him the weapon proficiency of martial, medium armor, and shields and the ability to use your charisma to swing your weapon. Hexblade’s Curse aids in destroying a foe by increasing damage, increased critical chance with on a 19 or 20, and regaining hit points when your foe dies.
From there I would mix in the Fighter levels with Paladin.
Fighter 1 gives Fraudrin the Fighting Style- Great Weapon Fighting and Second Wind.
Fighter 2 is where Fraudrin picks up Action Surge. This gives him two actions in one round.
Fighter 3 is the level where Fraudrin gains the powers of a Rune Knight, He gains Bonus Proficiencies in smith’s tools, the language of Giant, Rune Carver of Cloud Rune, and Frost Rune, and Giant’s Might. Giant’s Might is where he can now grow to a large size, advantage on Str checks and saves and deal extra damage.
Paladin 1 enhances Fraudrin’s skills with Divine Sense, Lay on Hands, and the Fighting Style-Dueling.
Paladin 2 is the final level for Fraudrin/Dreyfus’ build with Spellcasting and Divine Smite. Divine Smite gives Fraudrin the power to level heavy damage onto a foe with various types of smites.
With full use of Fraudrin’s powers he can perform the following techniques via spells and abilities:
Full Size- Giant’s Might
Soshin No Jutsu- Hexblade level
Break
- Pierce- Eldritch Blast + Hexblade’s Curse
- Pulverize- Thunderous Smite
- Charge- Charger feat + Divine Smite
- Milky Way Breaker- Hexblade’s Curse + Searing Smite
- Flowing Strike- Charger
- Blast- Eldritch Blast
- Arhat Spread Shot- Eldritch Blast at Lv 5
This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Fraudrin/Dreyfus the Selflessness a breaker of foes in Six levels or Less.
