Yenzu ‘Meteor’ Jones was always someone who fought against the odds and for anything that she wanted in life. She grew up on the streets of her hometown and learned how to fight in seedy underground gladiatorial combats. Yenzu was promised a life-changing amount of money to fight for a private match hosted by a noble. Little did she know that this fight would change her life in more ways than one. The noble was an upstart vampire lord who put her against a rabid vampire spawn. Despite her skills in battle she could nothing more than land scratches upon it as she was slowed down by her own injuries. The next thing she remembered was clawing herself from a shallow grave. Something changed her from her human form to something akin to a vampire. Now she seeks to learn about her new powers as well as get vengeance on the lord that cost her so much.

The three things that I wanted to achieve with this build are:
- Brutal Punching Power.
- Vampiric Maneuverability.
- Tactical Foe Dismantling.
Race
For the Race of this build, I went with Dhampir. This race gives her the skills Perception, Insight, Darkvision, Spider Climb, Vampiric Bite, the language of Undercommon, and a walking speed of 35
Background
For Background I chose Urchin. This gives her the skills of Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Disguise Kit, Thieves’ Tools, and Background Feature of City Secrets.
Class
For the Class makeup of this build, I went Barbarian 1/Fighter 5 (Battle Master). This combination of classes gives her powerful unarmed action, increased damage, damage reduction, and tactical defenses. This build is capable of leveling any foe that stands in her way.
Barbarian 1 starts off his build with the skills of Athletics and Nature, Rage, and Unarmored Defense.
From there she becomes a Fighter.
Fighter 1 gives Yenzu Fighting Style-Unarmed Fighting and Second Wind.
Fighter 2 is where she picks up Action Surge. Now, she can get two attacks in one turn.
Fighter 3 is the level she becomes a Battle Master. Battle Master gives her Combat Superiority Dice, Student of War-Alchemist’s Supplies, and the Maneuvers of Riposte, Parry, and Bait and Switch.
Fighter 4 gifts Yenzu with the feat called Crusher. This gives her an increase to Str, pushing back a foe 5 feet and gaining advantage against a foe on a critical hit.
Fighter 5 is the final level for her with the Class Feature of Extra Attack. Now she can get two attacks a round or four with the use of action surge.
With this combination of skills, feat, racial traits, and class features she is able to inflict strong damage with crowd control options, great maneuverability, multiple levels of damage reduction, and increased damage from rage.
