Meliodas is known as the Dragon’s Sin of Wrath, and captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. He owns the Boar Hat tavern and is the main character of the series. His story is one of overcoming grief and pain in order to challenge every difficulty imaginable for the name of love. While cheerful and calm on the outside, his wrath is truly acquired when you attack those he cares about. He is closest to Elizabeth, as she is the love of his life, but also shares brother-ship with Ban and close relationship to Merlin. As a leader of multiple groups in his long life, Meliodas has tremendous battle prowess and frighteningly overwhelming powers.

Class Warlock 6 (The Undead)
The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:
- Frightful abilities.
- Demonic shadow powers.
- Wrathful fighting ability.
Race
For the race I chose Zariel Tiefling for Meliodas but Fallen Aasimar could work as well. I chose a race that leans closest to the demon race as far as being stronger than most and ferocity in battle. With this class you gain Darkvision, Hellish Resistance, and Legacy of Avernus. Legacy of Avernus grants him Thaumaturgy, Searing Smite and Branding Smite. This increases his damage potential when he lands blows against his foes.
Background
For Background I chose Noble for Meliodas. He is the eldest son of the demon king and this background provides the closest fit for him. With this background he gains the skills of Persuasion, Athletics, Playing Card Set, the language of Celestial and the Feature Position of Privilege.
Class
Meliodas’ class breakdown is Warlock (The Undead). This class is perfect in giving him the majority of his powers such as Assault mode and Trillion Dark. This class combined with a key feat create a very powerful build for Meliodas.
Warlock 1 is the first level Meliodas’ build. He gains the skills of Deception, History, Otherworldly Patron, Pact Magic, Expanded Spell List, and Form of Dread. Form of Dread is where Meliodas gains the power to manifest his demon powers. This grants him temporary hitpoints, a once a round fright effect and makes him immune to being frightened.
Warlock 2 grants him access to Eldritch Invocations. At first he gets two invocations, but at level 5 he has three and you can change out one each level. At this level you can chose Armor of Shadows and Agonizing Blast, but at level 6 you choose Thirsting Blade, Cloak of Flies and Armor of Shadows. Thirsting increases attacks, Cloak gives him advantage of intimidation and a five foot radius of continuous damage and Armor gives him unlimited usage of the spell Mage armor.
Warlock 3 is Pact Boon for Meliodas. The Pact of the Blade is the one that I went with for him. It is with this pact that he can create a weapon that you are proficient with into your hand. You can also bound with magic weapons that you find along the way like Lostvayne.
Warlock 4 is where you pick up the feat Gift of the Gem Dragon (Cha), this represents his tattoo of the dragon. With this feat he increases his Cha by 1, and gains the power Telekinetic Reprisal. Telekinetic Reprisal allows you to get revenge for taking damage from a foe and inflict 2d8 force damage and pushes them back 10 feet.
Warlock 5 is where he picks up the third Eldritch Invocation and that is Thirsting blade. He also gains access to 3rd level spells.
Warlock 6 is the final level for this Meliodas build with the class feature of Grave Touched. You also switch out Agonizing Blast for Cloak of Flies. Grave Touched gifts Meliodas the lack of need to eat, drink or breathe, changing damage to necrotic damage from one of your attacks and an additional damage die while in Form of Dread.
With full use of her Meliodas’ power he is able to perform the following techniques via spells and abilities:

Hellblaze- Chill Touch spell and Grave Touched
Assault Mode- Form of Dread
Kami Chigiri/Thousand Divine Slayer- Cloud of Daggers

Shiden Issen- Green-Flame Blade
Dark Prominence- Shadow Blade spell, Branding Smite and Grave touched
This combination of feats, stats and spells gives this DND build of Meliodas, Dragons’ Sin of Wrath his frightful powers in Six levels or Less.
