A small scrapper who has always had to fight in order to survive on the mean streets of her hometown. She brings a lot of pain to those who underestimate her in a battle. This character uses psionic abilities and martial fisticuffs to take a toll on her foes. A non monk fist fighter with more than enough options to dispatch her foes.

Chenny Brightmoon

Race: Lightfoot Hafling, +2 Dex, Lucky, Brave, Hafling Nimbleness, Natually Stealthy

Stats (Point Buy)

Str 13 Dex 14 Con 15 Int 10 Wis 9 Cha 11 (base stats)

Str 14 Dex 16 Con 15 Int 10 Wis 9 Cha 12 (racial and feat adjustment)

The three things that I wanted to achieve with this build are:

  1. Psionic destructive ability.
  2. Martial fisticuffs equal to a monk her level.
  3. Evasive frontline fighter.

For the Race of this build I went Lightfoot Hafling. This subrace of Hafling gives us the dex bonus and Hafling Nimblness features that make her the mobile opponent she will become. The bonus ability of Lucky will aid in re-rolling any nasty 1’s on a d20 roll. While Brave and Natually Stealthy will aid in and out of combat should the need arise.

For Background I choose Urchin. This allows her access to Sleight of Hand and Deception with the Disguise kit and Alchemist’s supplies proficiencies rounding out her kit. These proficiencies will serve her well as a scout and the ability to earn extra coin through crafting useful alchemical substances.

For the Class make up of this build I chose a three part build for her, Rogue 4 (Soulknife)/Barbarian 1/Fighter 1. Each will serve to enhance Chenny into the feisty fierce phenom that she will become at level six.

Rogue 1 is the beginning career for Chenny. It is here that she will learn her four skills of stealth, athletics, acrobatics and perception. She will Expertise in stealth and athletics and with those skills Use Sneak attack to deliver extra damage to her foes. From there she spend another two levels in Rogue just to get to her up to her subclass of SoulKnife. Rogue 2 grants her Cunning Action which aids in getting evasion and escaping. Combined with Naturally Stealthy and Hafling Nimbleness and she can easily slip from any situation with ease.

Rogue 3 gives her Soulkife and her psionic powers as a whole. Psi-Bolstered Knack gives her an extra chance to get a success with any skill or tool Psychic Whispers is useful in keeping in touch with teammates while she is out scouting.

From there she will go Fighter 1. The reason for that is because she wont be able to always rely on her psychic blades to be manifested so she will need to be trained in fisticuffs when they are not out. That being said her Fighting Style will be Unarmed Fighting. This coupled with Second Wind will give her the ability to continue to deal consisted damage and heal if she has to maintain being in the front of the fight.

Next she will get in touch with her inner turmoil and take a level of Barbarian. This will give her Rage and Unarmored Defense. These two skills will ensure she can stand on the front lines without too much trouble while increasing her AC.

The finishing touch of her path will be Rogue 4. It is here she will go for the feat Crusher. This will increase her Str by one and give her the ability to send a foe she hits with her fist back five feet of medium or smaller stature. Lastly, if she lands a critical hit with her fist she can ensure that she can land a proper sneak attack on her own.

Standard Rogue Equipment. She is use to having little in the ways of equipment save her natural talents. Now with her psionic and fighting style she will never need weapons again.
