Nariko, the scarlet tempest of vengeance, is the doomed champion of an ancient prophecy, her every motion haunted by the weight of sacrifice and a kingdom’s broken faith. Beneath the fire of her fury lies a soul torn between destiny and defiance, wielding the Heavenly Sword not as a weapon, but as a curse she embraces with tragic resolve—each arc of its blade a scream for justice, each battle a step toward the edge of ruin. This build is of her wielding the Heavenly Sword as she smashes through waves of foes with the fury of a Goddess possessed.

Monk is the main class for Nariko, granting her immense maneuverability, a flurry of attacks, and techniques that allow her to subdue her foes with lethal or non-lethal force. With Monk, she gains proficiencies in Acrobatics, Athletics, Alchemist’s Supplies, Unarmored Defense, Martial Arts, Ki, Unarmored Movement, Deflect Missiles, Slow Fall, Extra Attack, and Stunning Strike.

Monastic Tradition: Way of the Kensei is where she gains her mastery over any blade, especially with the legendary Heavenly Sword. Way of the Kensei grants her the tri-nested feature of Path of the Kensei as well as Way of the Brush: Calligrapher’s Supplies. With Path of the Kensei, she gains Kensei weapons of Longsword and Musket, Agile Parry, and Kensei’s Shot.

Fighter is where she acquires additional martial skills and self-healing abilities. With Fighter, she gains proficiencies in all martial weapons, light and medium armors, and shields, Fighting Style-Superior Technique: Commanding Presence and Second Wind.

The feat Strike of the Giants (Stone Strike) allows Nariko to deal an extra 1d6 force damage and force the foe to make a Str saving throw or be pushed back 10 in a straight line from her.

The feat Keenness of the Stone Giant increases her Wis by +1, increases her darkvision by another 60 feet, and gives her the ability to throw a Stone as a magical attack that deals 1d10 force damage and can knock a foe prone.

Background: Giant Foundling gives Nariko the proficiencies of Intimidation and Survival, the Languages of Giant and Celestial, and the Background Feature Strike of the Giants.

Equipment: Shortsword, 10 Darts, 4 Handaxes, Explorer’s Pack, and Giant Foundling Starting Equipment. For the Heavenly Sword, try to get a Nine Lives Stealer Longsword, and for rocket attacks, a Vicious Musket.
