Behind the weathered hockey mask lies a soul twisted by trauma and grief, driven by the ghostly echoes of a drowned boy and a mother’s final scream. This build is of him cleaving through sinners not with fury, but with grim purpose—each swing of his machete a sentence, each step a dirge echoing through the woods.
Barbarian is the main class for Jason, granting him incredible durability, enhanced speed, and potent damage that he uses to hunt down his chosen prey at the lake. With Barbarian, he gains the proficiencies of Survival and Intimidation, Rage, Unarmored Defense, Weapon Mastery: Longsword (Sap) and Handaxe (Vex) and Javelin (Slow), Danger Sense, Reckless Attack, Primal Knowledge: Athletics, Extra Attack, and Fast Movement.
Barbarian Subclass: Path of the Zealot gifts him with a further increase in the damage, strengthened saving throw saves, and the ability to recover from lethal damage, allowing him to unleash his full wrath upon unsuspecting camp counselors. Path of the Zealot gives him Divine Fury (Necrotic), Warrior of the Gods, and Fanatical Focus.
The feat Skulker allows Jason to increase his Dex by +1, Blindsight of 10′, Fog of War, and Sniper.
Background: Sailor gives Jason Voorhees the proficiencies of Perception and Acrobatics, the Tool Proficiency of Navigator’s Tools, the Feat: Tavern Brawler, and the Ability Score increases of +2 to Str and +1 to Dex.
