Beneath her polished image lies a sharp intellect and an unyielding heart, shaped by the pressures of fame and the hidden dangers that lurk beyond the stage. This build is of her silencing ethereals not with blades, but with resonant shockwaves of pure sound—each note a weapon, each chorus a storm.

Bard is the main class for Astra Yao, gifting her with the ability to empower her friends, confound her foes, and engender joy into all who listen to her singing. With Bard, she gains the proficiencies of Hand Drum, Flute, Harp, History Survival and Performance, Spellcasting, Bardic Inspiration, Jack of All Trades, Song of Rest, Expertise: Performance and Stealth, and Font of Inspiration.

Bard College: College of Glamour strengthens her performances with the enrapturing power of Fey magic. College of Glamour gives her the features of Mantle of Inspiration and Enthralling Performance. Mantle of Inspiration grants her allies 8 temporary hit points and the ability to move up to their speed without provoking opportunity attacks. Enthralling Performance allows her to charm her audience if they witness her perform for at least 1 minute.

Cleric with the Peace Domain grants her the power to further enhance her allies with a bond that strengthens their abilities and saves. With Cleric, she gains proficiencies with medium armor and shields, Spellcasting, Domain Spells of heroism and sanctuary, Implement of Peace: Persuasion and Emboldening Bond.

The feat Martial Adept gives her two special combat maneuvers as well as one superiority die to activate the maneuver that she gains back after a short or long rest. She gains the maneuvers of Bait and Switch and Evasive Footwork.

Background: Urchin gives Astral Yao the proficiencies of Sleight of Hand and Stealth and the Tool Proficiency of Disguise Kit and Thieves’ Tools, and the Background Feature of City Secrets.
