Wave is the kind-hearted and honorable seafaring soldier from a small fishing town in the empire. Having come to the capital to become a member of Esdeath’s Jaegers, Wave seeks to stop the dreaded Night Raid from performing more assassinations in the Empire. Armed with the armored suit Tegiu, Grand Chariot, he unleashes his formidable fighting skills against the empire’s enemies. Despite being at odds with the more ruthless members of his squad he has a soft spot for Kurome. This build of Wave is one of him dealing a deluge of damage against whatever foe stands in his way.

Class Fighter1/Warlock 5(The Fathomless)
The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:
- Oyster Shell Tough.
- Grand Chariot Damage.
- Man of the Sea.
Background
For Background, I chose Sailor for Wave. He gains the skills of Athletics and Perception, The Tool Proficiency of Navigator’s Tools, Vehicles (water), and the Background Feature of Ship’s Passage.
Race
For Race, I chose Variant Human for Wave. With this race, he gains + 1 to Str and Cha, Skills: Persuasion, and Feat: Gift of the Metallic Dragon.
Class
Wave’s class breakdown is Fighter 1/ Warlock 5 (The Fathomless). With this class, Wave gains access to devastating physical melee attacks from himself or his summoned construct, the ability to move freely at sea, and potent spellcasting to destroy any foe. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate his abilities and talents at this level.
Fighter 1 is the starting class for Wave. This class gives him the proficiencies of Survival and Animal Handling, Fighting Style: Unarmed Fighting, and Second Wind.
Warlock 1 is where he starts to gain the powers granted to him by his Teigu, Grand Chairot, giving him the impressive ability to maneuver and unleash powerful attacks like a giant squid. At this level, he gains Otherworldly Patron: The Fathomless, Pact Magic, Expanded Spell List, Tentacle of the Deeps, and Gift of the Sea.
Warlock 2 grants Wave enhanced powers with the feature Eldritch Invocations. At this level, Wave gets the Eldritch Invocations of Beast Speech and Eldritch Sight.
Warlock 3 is where he picks up the ability to unleash his swordsmanship potential with the feature called Pact Boon. Pact Boon: Pact of the Blade gives Wave the ability to summon his weapon and use it to cast spells through it. Switch Beast Speech to Improved Pact Weapon.
Warlock 4 gifts him with the feat Crusher: Str. This feat gives him a +1 to his Str stat, the ability to once per turn move a foe 5 feet to an unoccupied space, and when landing a critical hit that does bludgeoning damage all attacks allow advantage on the foe until the start of Wave’s next turn.
Warlock 5 is the last level for Wave with an extra Eldritch Invocation and 3rd-level spells. At this level, his Eldritch Invocations are Eldritch Smite, Thirsting Blade, and Improved Pact Weapon.
With full use of Wave’s powers, he can perform the following techniques via class features and abilities:
- Grand Fall- Tentacle of the Deeps + Thunderwave spell
This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Wave a powerful tsunami of devastating power decimating his foes with the surging breakers of the Empire’s ideals in Six Levels or Less.
