Helck is the main protagonist of the anime that bears his name. He is the level 99 hero who has come to the demon empire to compete in the tournament to become the next demon lord. He is a powerhouse whose abilities baffle and confound his fellow adventuring partner Vermilio to no end. Beneath Helck’s cheerful demeanor lies a rising darkness capable of causing a catastrophe rarely seen in this world.
Monk is where Helck gains his powerful unarmed martial abilities, his superior agility, and his unarmored defenses. With Monk he gains the proficiencies of Insight, Acrobatics and Carpenter’s Tools, Unarmored Defense, Martial Arts, Ki, Unarmored Movement (Wis), Deflect Missiles, Slow Fall, Extra Attack, and Stunning Strike.
Monastic Tradition Way of the Open Hand grants Helck destructive power with his fist in the form of Open Hand Technique. With Open Hand Technique whenever he lands an attack with his Flurry of Blows he can knock a foe prone, push an opponent 15 feet away from himself, or keep an enemy from taking reactions until the end of Helck’s next turn.
Barbarian is where he gains enhanced durability, bonus damage to melee weapon attacks and advantage on Str checks and savings throws. With Barbarian he gains Rage and Unarmored Defense (Con), and access to Martial weapons and Shields.
The feat of Shadow Touched (Wis) grants Helck a bonus to his Wis, the spell of Invisibility and Cause Fear. This mimics Helck’s incredible ability to hide without Vermilio noticing him and his fearsome aura.
Background: Folk Hero gives him Animal Handling and Survival, Tool Proficiencies of Vehicle (Land) and Cook’s Utensils, and the Background Feature of Rustic Hospitality.
Equipment: Shortsword, 10 Darts, Cook’s Utensils, Common Clothes, and Explorer’s Pack.
