Oliver Horn is the main protagonist of Reign of the Seven Spellblades. He is a well-rounded wizard who is skilled in various spells and possesses incredible sword-fighting techniques. He has come to Kimberly Magic Academy to hone his skills and enact a secret purpose that leads him to live a double life. His path is a crimson road of vengeance that will shake the very foundations of the academy. But will the wielder of a blade of revenge find joy?
Blood Hunter is where Oliver gains his swordsmanship, and talents that aid in bringing his chosen foes to their knees. With Blood Hunter he gains the proficiencies of Insight, Acrobatics and History, Hunter’s Bane of Hemocraft Modifier: Int, Blood Maledict, Blood Curses: Blood Curse of Binding, Fighting Style: Dueling, Crimson Rite of the Flame, and Extra Attack.
Blood Hunter Order of the Profane Soul (Int) is where Oliver gains his spellcasting abilities and the ability to use his weapon as a spellcasting focus. Blood Hunter gives him Otherworldly Patron: The HexBlade, Pact Magic, and Rite Focus.
Sorcerer is where he gains additional spells, and the ability to change a potential failure into success similar to his borrowed 4th Spellsword of Angustavia. With Sorcerer he gains Spellcasting, Sorcerous Origin: Divine Soul, Divine Magic: Good, and Favored by the Gods.
The feat of Actor allows Oliver a +1 to Cha, advantage on Charisma checks like Deception or Performance to pass himself off as a different person while also being able to mimic the speech of another person or the sound of a creature.
The feat of Lucky grants him 3 luck points to re-roll an attack, ability check, or saving throw.
Background: Haunted One gives him Investigation and Arcana, Languages of Infernal and Draconic, and the Background Feature of Heart of Darkness.
Equipment: Rapier, Light Crossbow, Studded Leather, alchemist’s supplies, Monster Hunter’s Pack Common Clothes, and Explorer’s Pack.
