Nanao Hibiya is one of the main characters of Reign of the Seven Spellblades. She is an extremely proficient sword-using samurai capable of rushing through whole armies in order to find a foe worthy enough to fight. Blessed with the magical skill of a spellblade and gifted with a strong and clean magical circulation that changes her hair color, Nanao is a force of nature on any battlefield where she unsheathes her blade.
Monk is where Nanao picks up her martial arts abilities, defensive techniques, and acrobatic dodges. With Monk, she gains proficiencies of Insight, Acrobatics and Flute, Unarmored Defense, Martial Arts, Ki, Unarmored Movement, Deflect Missiles, Slow Fall, Extra Attack, and Stunning Strike.
Way of the Kensei is where Nanao gains her sword saint levels of swordsmanship. Path of the Kensei gives her Kensei Weapons of Longsword and Dart, Agile Parry, Kensei’s Shot, and Way of the Brush: Calligrapher’s Supplies.
Warlock is where she gains her spell-casting ability as well as the power to enhance her fighting technique while changing her hair color. With Warlock, she gains Otherworldly Patron: The Undead, Pact Magic, and Form of Dread.
The feat of Mage Slayer allows her to make a reaction melee attack against a spell-casting creature, cause disadvantage on a foe she hits who is concentrating on a spell, and advantage saving throws against spells within 5 feet.
The feat of Fey Touched: Wisdom gives Nanao a boost to her wisdom score, access to the spell Misty Step, and Hunter’s Mark.
Background: Soldier gives her Intimidation and Perception, Tool Proficiencies of Vehicles (Land) and Dice Set, and the Background Feature of Military Rank.
Equipment: Shortsword, Moon-Touched Longsword and 10 Darts, Common Clothes, and Explorer’s Pack.
