In Six or Less #79 Yuta Okkotsu Jujutsu Kaisen DND Builds

Yuta Okkotsu is a special-grade jujutsu sorcerer gifted with nearly bottomless cursed energy coupled with one of the extremely powerful Cursed Spirit Rika. Yuta is the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and a major character in the rest of Jujutsu Kaisen. He was recruited to join Toyoko Jujutsu High following a fierce defensive response from Rika who was protecting Yuta from bullying. During his time at his new high school, he learned to control his talents and enhanced his combat abilities alongside his fellow 1st-year students of Maki, Toge, and Panda. It is because of their combined efforts that Yuta was eventually able to defeat Suguru Geto after he attacked the school directly. This build of Yuta Okkotsu is him at the end of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 after his battle with Suguru Geto.

Class Sorcerer 6 (Shadow Magic)

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:

1. Rika and Yuta vs the World.
2. Immeasurable Cursed Energy.
3. Formidable Front Line Fighting.

Background

For Background, I chose Faction Agent for Yuta. He gains the skills of Acrobatics and Investigation, languages of Undercommon and Infernal, and the Background Feature of Safe Haven. This represents Yuta’s background as a jujutsu sorcerer attending Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Race

For Race, I chose Shadar-kai elf for Yuta. With this race, he gains + 1 to Dex, Cha and Con, Size: Medium, Blessing of the Raen Queen, Darkvision, Fey Ancestry, Keen Senses, Necrotic Resistance, Trance: Rapier, and Alchemist’s Supplies.

Class

Yuta’s class breakdown is Sorcerer 6 (Shadow Magic). It is with this class, Yuta gains access to powerful spells that both enhance his combat potential and create damaging effects on his foes, gains access to a powerful familiar that assist in defeating his foes, and the ability to generate more spells slots that imitates his near limitless cursed energy. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate his abilities and talents at this level.

Sorcerer 1 is the starting class for Yuta. This class gives him the skills of Insight, Arcana, Spellcasting, Eyes of the Dark, and Strength of the Grave.

Sorcerer 2 is where he picks up the feature of Font of Magic. This feature gives him the ability to turn spell slots into sorcery points and vice versa, enabling Yuta to have another pool to generate more spells slots.

Sorcerer 3 grants Yuta access to the feature Metamagic: Distant and Twinned, the ability to cast and see through his own darkness spell and 2^nd Level spells. These options allow Yuta to cast his spells at a longer range while affecting two targets with the same spell.

Sorcerer 4 gifts him with the feat Gift of the Metallic Dragon. This feat gives Yuta the ability to heal his allies with cure wounds as well as protect them with manifested shields if they are near him. This feat replicates his reversed curse technique.

Sorcerer 5 is where Yuta picks up access to 3^rd level spells.

Sorcerer 6 is the final level for Yuta with the ability for him to fully summon Rika in the form of the feature Hound of Ill Omen. With this feature, he can summon a medium monstrosity that actively hunts down Yuta’s foe. This paired with the spell of Phantasmal Force is enough to fully decimate a single opponent.

With full use of Yuta’s powers, he can perform the following techniques via class features and abilities:

• Bottomless Cursed Energy Capacity – Font of Magic + Full Caster Class
• Greatly Enhanced Agility- Blessing of the Raven Queen + Expeditious Retreat Spell
• Reversed Cursed Technique- Draconic Healing feature + Twinned Spell feature
• Copy: Cursed Speech– Shatter spell
• Special Grade Vengeful Spirit Rika– Hound of Ill Omen + Phantasmal Force spell + Chill Touch cantrip

This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Yuta Okkotsu an overwhelming flood of cursed energy and unfathomable potential defeating any foe with the power of love in Six levels or Less.

Standard Sorcerer equipment with Sickle, 2 Daggers, and Explorer’s Pack. For Yuta’s Katana, I gave him a Rapier +1 since it does as much as a longsword and uses Dex for his attack stat.
