In Six or Less #77 Toge Inumaki (Jujutsu Kaisen) DND Builds

Toge Inumaki, the cursed speech user of the Inumaki clan, is a major supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen. His is the power of cursed speech, capable of cursing anyone with but mere words. From using coded language to muffling his moth with a specialized collar on his clothes, Toge uses multiple layers of protection to protect his allies from his powerful technique. He is also known as being extremely nimble, capable of maneuvering around a battlefield with ease. Toge cares greatly for his friends and will do whatever it takes to defeat any threat that attempts to bring them harm. This build of Toge Inumaki is him at the end of the Kyoto Goodwill Event after the battle with the special grade cursed spirit Hanami.

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:

1. I Speak, You React.
2. Words Hurt More.
3. Fleet of Foot, Speed of Sound.

Background

For Background, I chose Faction Agent for Toge. He gains the skills of Acrobatics and Perception, languages of Undercommon and Draconic, and the Background Feature of Safe Haven. This represents his career as a jujutsu sorcerer attending Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Race

For Race, I chose Custom Lineage for Toge Inumaki. With this race, he gains + 2 to Cha, Size: Medium, Feat: Mobile, and Variable Trait-Proficiency: Insight.

Class

Toge’s class breakdown is Sorcerer 5 (Aberrant Mind)/Bard 1. It is with these classes, Toge Inumaki gains access to powerful vocal spells that can inflict a ton of effects and damage, the capability to communicate despite a language barrier, and impressive mobility using spells and talents. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate his abilities and skills at this level.

Sorcerer 1 is the starting class for Toge Inumaki. This class gives him the skills of Arcana and Persuasion, Spellcasting, Sorcerous Origin: Aberrant Mind, Psionic Spells of Arms of Hadar, Dissonant Whispers, Mind Sliver, and Telepathic Speech. The key feature is Telepathic Speech since it allows Toge to communicate his ideas to another person up to miles away.

Sorcerer 2 is where he gains the feature Font of Magic. This allows him to trade a certain amount of spell slots to gain sorcery points and vice versa.

Sorcerer 3 marks the next step in Toge’s power scaling with the feature of Metamagic of Subtle Spell and Heightened Spell, and the extra Psionic spells of Calm Emotions and Detect Thoughts. Twinned Spell allows him to cast spells on a second target within the spell’s range. Heightened Spell increases his ability to land an important spell by giving a foe a disadvantage on its first saving throw made against it.

Sorcerer 4 gifts him with the feat Fey Touched: Cha. With this feat, he can use the spell Misty Step and the coveted vocal spell of Command.

Sorcerer 5 grants him access to 3^rd level and the bonus Psionic Spells of Hunger of Hadar and Sending.

Bard 1 is the final level for Toge with the features of Proficiencies of Light Armor, Investigation skill, Horn Tool proficiency, Spellcasting, and Bardic Inspiration.

With full use of Toge’s powers, he can perform the following techniques via class features and abilities:

  • “Get Crushed” – Tasha’s Mind Whip spell
  • “Crumble Away” – Erupting Earth spell

  • “Blast Away” -Thunderwave spell

This combination of feats, stats, and no spells makes this DND build of Toge Inumaki a cacophonic cataclysm capable of clearing any foe in his way in Six levels or Less.
