Yuji Itadori, known as Sukuna’s Vessel, is the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High after consuming one of Sukuna’s fingers during an altercation with a curse at his old high school. A caring soul who holds the lives of others in high regard, Yuji seeks a death that will have him surrounded by others. He constantly puts himself in harm’s way to protect the lives of those around him as well as his incredible ability to adapt his tactics and thinking to whatever situation he finds himself in. His fellow teammates of Nobara and Megumi share a familial bond that allows them to fight curses far above their Grades. This build of Yuji is shortly after Nobara and himself defeated the special grade curses of Eso and Kechizu.

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:
- Unmatched Fisticuff Action.
- Divergence of Cursed Fist
- Unending Black Flashes.
Background
For Background, I chose Faction Agent for Yuji. He gains the Skills of Perception, Arcana, Languages of Elvish and Deep Speech, and the Background Feature of Safe Haven. This represents him being a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
Race
For Race, I chose Yuan-ti for Yuji. With this race, he gains + 2 to Wis and +1 to Str, Darkvision, Magic Resistance, Poison Resilience, and Serpentine Spellcasting: Wis. The key features of this race are Poison Resilience and Magic Resistance since both represent Yuji’s ability to resist the damaging techniques of curses.
Class
Yuji’s’ class breakdown is a combination of two classes, Monk 5 (Way of Mercy)/Fighter 1. It is with these classes that Yuji Itadori gains access to destructive unarmed combat potential, strong healing potential to keep himself in the fight longer, evasive mobility, and powerful necromantic damage capable of vanquishing any foe he goes toe to toe with. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate his abilities and talents at this level.
Monk 1 is the starting class for Yuji Itadori. This class will give him the bulk of his curse-fighting potential. At this level, he gains the skills of Athletics, Acrobatics and Cook’s Utensils, Unarmored Defense, and Martial Arts.
Monk 2 gives him the features of Ki and Unarmored Movement. Both features give Yuji incredible mobility and further enhance his combat potential.
Monk 3 is where Yuji gains his ability to channel his emotions into his fist with the Monastic Tradition Way of Mercy and Deflect Missiles. With Way of Mercy, he gains Implements of Mercy, Hand of Healing, and Hand of Harm. The key feature for this level is Hand of Harm since it allows him to inflict extra necrotic damage on a foe by spending 1 Ki point.
Monk 4 increases his curse fighting potential with the feat Fey Touched: Wis and Slow Fall. With this feat, he gains +1 to his Wis, Misty Step, and Hex spells. This further enhances his mobility, increases his necrotic damage potential, as well as weakens a chosen ability check by imposing disadvantage on them.
Monk 5 grants him Extra Attack and Stunning Strike. This level further increases his damage potential as well as another way to take a foe out of a fight by imposing the stunned condition on a foe.
Fighter 1 is the final level for Yuji with the features of Fighting Style: Unarmed Fighting and Second Wind. This level dip into Fighter gives him increased damage potential with his unarmed fighting style as well as another way of healing during a fight.
With full use of Yuji’s powers, he can perform the following techniques via class features and abilities:
- Black Flash– Hex Spell + Hand of Harm + Stunning Fist + Unarmed Attack
- Divergent Fist– Unarmed Attack + Hand of Harm
This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Yuji Itadori an overwhelming force of curse-crushing power using his talents to protect innocent lives from the evils inflicted by monsters in Six Levels or Less.
