In Six or Less #73 Nobara Kugisaki Jujutsu Kaisen DND Builds

Nobara Kugisaki is the tritagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. She is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High with a grade of 3 as a jujutsu sorcerer. A confident and bold woman with an eye for fashion and a strong desire to defeat any curse that stands in her way. Under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, alongside her teammates Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara continues to grow in both techniques and curse energy as they fight throughout the series. Despite being a country girl and volunteering to be a jujutsu sorcerer, Nobara has shown a capacity to keep a level head and a crazy streak that aids her in battling increasingly more powerful curses. This build of Nobara is shortly after Yuji and herself defeated the special grade curses of Eso and Kechizu.

Class Monk 1 / Warlock 5 (The Hexblade)

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:

1. Pounding Curses into Foes.
2. Crushing Enemies Resoundingly.
3. Nails in Straw Coffins.

Background

For Background, I chose Faction Agent for Nobara. She gains the Skills of Insight, Investigation, Languages of Elvish and Abyssal, and the Background Feature of Safe Haven. This represents her being a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Race

For Race, I chose Variant Human Nobara. With this race, she gains + 1 to Cha and Wis, Skills: Arcana, Feat: Crusher +1 to Str.

Class

Nobara’s class breakdown is a combination of two classes, Monk 1/Warlock 5 (The Hexblade). It is with these classes that Nobara Kugisaki gains access to devastating curses, impressive amounts of bludgeoning damage, and powerful abilities that allow her to decimate any foe that stands in her way. This combination of classes and feats is the best attempt to consolidate her abilities and talents at this level.

Monk 1 is the starting class for Nobara Kugisaki. With this level, she gains the skills of Athletics, Religion and Carpenter’s Tools, Unarmored Defense, and Martial Arts.

Warlock 1 is where Nobara will gain the bulk of her curse-fighting abilities. With this level, she gains Otherworldly Patron: The Hexblade, Pact Magic, Expanded Spell List, Hexblade’s Curse, and Hex Warrior. The key features are Hexblade’s Curse and Hex Warrior. The former gives her additional damage potential and healing when it comes to defeating an enemy, while the latter allows her to use her Cha modifier to attack and do damage.

Warlock 2 gifts her with Eldritch Invocations which further enhance her curse-fighting potential. At this level go for Agonizing Blast and Grasp of Hadar.

Warlock 3 grants her the Pact Boon of Pact of the Blade. With this feature, Nobara can now create a weapon in her hand and the weapon counts as a magical one for overcoming immunities. Switch out Grasp of Hadar with Improved Pact Weapon.

Warlock 4 increases her curse-fighting potential with the feat Eldritch Adept. With this feat, she gains an additional Eldritch Invocation.

Warlock 5 is the final level for Nobara with the feature of her third invocation. At this level, her invocations are Maddening Hex, Improved Pact Weapon, Thirsting Blade, and Agonizing Blast

With full use of Nobara’s powers, she can perform the following techniques via class features and abilities:

• Black Flash– Thunder Step Spell
• Straw Doll Technique– Hexblade’s Curse + Hex/Mind Spike Spell
  • Resonance– Mind Spike Spell + Hexblade’s Curse for the first round
    • (Agonizing Blast) Eldritch Blast + Mind Spike Spell (Concentration) for remaining rounds
  • Hairpin– Hexblade’s Curse/Hex Spell + Maddening Hex

This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Nobara Kugisaki a pulverizing hammer of focused curse energy crushing any enemy that stands in her way in Six levels or Less.
