Diasica Cain always had a keen insight into any situation she would find herself in, often feeling like a guardian angel was watching out for her. She wasn’t born with the plucky luck and inborn fearlessness that her fellow halflings were graced with, instead, she felt uncoordinated and hapless. Such things did not dissuade her, often finding herself helpful and need in dire situations, she used her unique powers to protect those who needed her. When a goblin host started to rampage across the lands she enlisted and fought valiantly amongst her newly found companions. Her army fought many hard battles before finally breaking through the goblin stronghold. Unfortunately, as a last resort, the goblins released a powerful beast unknown to all and that beast unleashed devastation upon both sides. The last sight that Diasica remembers was a tower claw layering a looming shadow before everything went dark. When she awoke it was on the carnage of the battlefield broken and bloodied, but alive. Since that day she spent her time surviving in the wilds and dark dungeons, learning from each experience and compiling information about the massive monster that destroyed everything that day.

Background
For Background, I chose Soldier for Diasica. This gives her the skills of Intimidation and Perception, the Tool Proficiencies of Vehicles (Land), and Playing Card Set with the Background Feature of Military Rank.
Class
For the Class make up of this build I went with Ranger 5 (Monster Slayer)/Barbarian 1. With these classes, she gains the ability to unleash strong damage with dual-wielding fury, impressive hunter-of-monster abilities, powerful buff spells, and incredible damage reduction and damage-increasing abilities. Combined with her racial abilities makes Diasica a force of nature against any foe that stands against her.
Ranger 1 is the beginning of this build with the skills of Athletics, Perception, and Insight, Favored Enemy-Humanoids: Werewolves, Goblins with the language of Goblin, and Natural Explorer: Forest.
Barbarian 1 increases her battle prowess with Rage and Unarmored Defense.
Ranger 2 continues her hunter’s training with Fighting Style: Two-Weapon Fighting and Spellcasting.
Ranger 3 is where Diasica finalizes her training with the Ranger Archetype: Monster Slayer and Primeval Awareness. Monster Slayer gives her access to Monster Slayer Magic bonus spells of Protection from evil and good at 3rd level and zone of truth at 5th level, Hunter’s Sense, and Slayer’s Prey. This gives her the ability to determine weaknesses in a foe within 60 feet of her and inflict extra damage on a chosen foe. Primeval Awareness grants her the ability to sense aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey fiends, and undead within a mile or up to 6 miles in a forest.
Ranger 4 is where she gains the Feat Dual Wielder. This gives her +1 tp jer AC wielding a melee weapon in each hand, the ability to wield a non-light weapon in each hand, and the ability to stow or draw 2 weapons at one time.
Ranger 5 is the last level for this build with the feature Extra Attack. Now she gains access to up to three attacks in a round.
