The day the human entertainer Seraphina Flair died was just the beginning of her destiny. Her first memories were of her clambering from the burning pile of corpses in a destroyed town. She wandered for days across the decimated countryside until she found a disused hovel nestled at the base of the solitary mountain pass. As she dwelled in the hovel she kept reliving the dream of a voice offering her the choice of life for something in return. She always awoke before she heard the remainder but this recurring vision of a hand extending to her lingered long after she opened her eyes. It was in the place where she found the journal and equipment of an old ghost hunter named Devon McCreed. With nothing but time on her hand, she read this journal and taught herself the skills and techniques laid within the weathered pages. At the end of the journal, it mentioned the hunter’s trusted whip and the words to activate its stored power. With a bit of trepidation, she steeled herself and sought out his tools. Once she found the location she was assaulted by a ghost guardian of the grounds. Using her newly acquired skills and talents she managed to beat back the creature and gained access to the crypt of the old hunter. A familiar voice called her to a small crack where she found a grime-covered whip covered in runes. Once she touched the whip, the voice materialized into a demoness wreathed in flame offering her a chance to unlock her past in exchange for taking over where Devon had left off. With a reluctant voice, she accepted the offer and was gifted with great power. Now, she fights back the shambling host of the dammed while unlocking small glimpses of her former life.

The three things that I wanted to achieve with this build are:
- Flame Encrusted Weaponry.
- Binding Spirits and Bodies.
- Intimidating Stares into the Soul.
Race
For the Race of this build, I went with Reborn. With Reborn you gain Ancestral Legacy, Deathless Nature, and Knowledge from a Past Life.
Background
For Background, I chose Haunted One for Seraphina. This gives her the skills of Survival and Intimidation, the Languages of Draconic and Celestial, and the Background Feature of Heart of Darkness.
Class
For the Class makeup of this build, I went with a combination of Blood Hunter 3(Order of the Ghostslayer)/Warlock 3(The Fiend). With this combination of classes, she gains the ability to fight spirits effectively while gaining an entire fleet of fire-born abilities to burn the bodies of her foes. I would weave the levels of each class but that is just my suggestion.
Blood Hunter 1 begins this build with the skills of Athletics, Religion and Arcana, Hunter’s Bane: Int, Blood Maledict, and Blood Curses: Curse of Binding.
Blood Hunter 2 is where Seraphina picks up the features of Fighting Style: Dueling and Crimson Rite: Rite of the Flame.
Blood Hunter 3 grants her the Blood Hunter Order of the Ghostslayer. She gains the features of Rite of the Dawn and Curse Specialist: Int. This gives her strong abilities against the undead in all of their forms.
Warlock 1 is where Seraphina picks up Otherworldly Patron: The Fiend, Expanded Spell List, and Dark One’s Blessing.
Warlock 2 is where she is gifted Eldritch Invocations of Devil’s Sight and Armor of Darkness until she reaches level 3 in Warlock then switch to Improved Pact Weapon.
Warlock 3 is the final level for this build with the features of Pact Boon: Pact of the Blade and 2nd-level spells. Then she can create any weapon she wants in order to finish off her foes.
