Nezuko Kamado is the deuteragonist of Demon Slayer, the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado, and a powerful demon in the series. She was a former human and one of two surviving members of the Kamado family. She is a particular strange demon in the sense that she has little to no desire for the flesh of humans, resistance to sunlight, and her Pyrokinetic abilities. Nezuko is a powerful addition to Tanjiro’s team and demon-possessed of a powerful will, a kind disposition, and fierce protection of those who need protection.
This particular build of Nezuko will be up to when she helped to defeat Daki.
Nezuko Stats
Str 11 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 13 Wis 11 Cha 13 (27 point buy)
Str 12 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 13 Wis 13 Cha 13 (after racial and feat mod)
Class Warlock 1(The Fiend)/Blood Hunter 5 (Order of the Lycan)
The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:
- Pyrokinetic Damage.
- Transformations of size and form.
- Bestial Fighting Form
Background
For Background, I chose Far Traveler for Nezuko. She gains the Skill Proficiencies of Insight and Perception, the Tool Proficiency of Pan Flute, the language of Abyssal, and the Background Feature of All Eyes on You. This feature allows her to gain the attention of notable people such as the common folk to nobles that can help garner goodwill towards her and her party.
Race
For the race, I chose Firbolg for her. With this race, he gains +2 to Wis and +1 to Str, Firbolg Magic, Hidden Step, Powerful Build, Speech of Beast and Leaf, and the languages of Elvish and Giant. Firbolg Magic gives her the ability to visibly lower her height with disguise self by up to 3 feet.
Class
Nezuko’s class breakdown is a mixture of two classes, Warlock 1(The Fiend)/Blood Hunter 5(Order of the Lycan) It is with these classes that he gains access to fire-related spells, temp hp from dropping a foe, the ability to “ascend” using hybrid transformations, damage reduction and her trademark fighting style of claws and feet. This combination of class and feats is the best attempt to consolidate her abilities and talents at this level.
Warlock 1 is the starting class for Nezuko. This gives her the skills of Investigation and Intimidation, Pact Magic, and Dark One’s Blessing. Dark One’s Blessing gives her temp hit points when she reduces a hostile creature to 0 hit points.
Blood Hunter 1 is the next step in Nezuko’s development. It is with this class she gains the skill of Acrobatics, Hunter’s Bane, Blood Maledict, and Blood Curses: Blood Curse of the Marked. Blood Curse of the Marked gives her advantage on her next attack roll against a marked foe.
Blood Hunter 2 gives her Fighting Style: Dueling and Crimson Rite: Rite of the Flame. Rite of the Flame allows extra damage to be done as fire damage
Blood Hunter 3 is where Nezuko gains greater control over her demonic powers via Order of the Lycan. This Order grants her Heightened Senses, Hybrid Transformation, and Hybrid Transformation Features. This gives her advantage on Str checks and saves, a bonus to melee damage, resistance to damage, increased AC, multiple attacks with her unarmed strikes, and Bloodlust.
Blood Hunter 4 grants Nezuko a feat. For the Feat, I chose Magic Initiate Cleric for her. This gives her the spells of Guidance, Spare the Dying and Cure Wounds.
Blood Hunter 5 is the last level for Nezuko’s build. This level gives her Extra Attack. At this level, Nezuko can now make a total of three attacks before the use of her Blood Maledict and Blood Curses.
With full use of Nezuko’s powers she can perform the following techniques via spells and abilities:
Awakened Form- Hybrid Transformation
Immense Regeneration- Dark One’s Blessing, Cure Wounds
Immense Strength- Feral Might
Size Alteration- Disguise Self
Blood Demon Art: Pyrokinesis- Warlock Fire Spells, Rite of the Flame
This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Nezuko a raging flame of fury against any demon taking human life in Six levels or Less.
