Tuami is a female goblin who grew up in the zany environment of a traveling circus. It was here where she trained in the impalement arts as a sling archer. While performing in a small village her trope was suddenly attacked by a ravaging band of Gnolls. She managed to escape with only a light shoulder graze from an arrow. Unfortunately, she was being hunted by a Gnoll witherling. She stumbled into a dilapidated building and managed to find a small crawl space partially hidden by a collapsed wall. It was here where she found a stoppered bottle with curious markings on the outside. Once she touched the bottle she was magically teleported to a room filled with cushions and low tables. It was here that a Djinn by the name of Rezo the Vibrant. In exchange for lending her some of his powers, she agreed to serve as one of his vassals in the prime material plane. Since then she has continued to perfect her skills in the use of the sling as an adventurer while spending time wooing crowds in taverns and inns abroad.

The three things that I wanted to achieve with this build are:

  1. Devastating Slinger Skills.
  2. Debilitating Techniques at Range.
  3. Everywhere is home.

Race

For the Race of this build, I went with Goblin, With this race, she gains +2 to Dex and +1 Con, Darkvision, Fury of the Small, Nimble Escape, and the language of Goblin.

Background

For Background I chose Entertainer. This gives him the skills of Acrobatics, Performance, Disguise Kit and Pan Flute, and the Background Feature of By Popular Demand. By Popular Demand gives a place to stay for free as long as she performs at an inn or tavern.

Class

For the Class makeup of this build, I went with a mix of Warlock 1 (The Genie)/Fighter 5. With this combination of classes, he gains the ability to inflict heavy magical damage through the use of the magic stone cantrip, strong defensive abilities to survive being caught in melee, and multiple ways to debuff an opponent at range.

Warlock 1 is the beginning of this build with the skills of Investigation and Arcana, Pact Magic, Expanded Spell List, and Genie’s Vessel. Genie’s Vessel gives her a place to rest as well dealing extra damage with the features of Bottled Respite and Genie’s Wrath respectfully.

Fighter 1 is where Tuami gains her martial skills. She gains the Fighting Style: Archery, and Second Wind. Now she can gain a +2 to attack with ranged weapons while being able to regain some hitpoints if necessary.

Fighter 2 gives her the ability of Action Surge. This allows her to take a second action in a round.

Fighter 3 grants her the abilities of a Battle Master. She gains superiority dice, Student of War proficiency in Leatherworker’s Tools and Maneuvers. The maneuvers that I chose for her are Disarming, Trip, and Precision Attack.

Fighter 4 is the level that gives her the feat of Sharpshooter. Now she can dish out a lot of damage by taking a penalty to attack, ignoring disadvantage on long-ranged attacks, and ignoring half and ¾ cover with ranged attacks.

Fighter 5 is the last level for this build with the class feature of Extra Attack. Now she gains two attacks a round or four if she uses Action Surge. Now she can use the cantrip of magic stone and combine it with numerous ways to add bonus damage with her racial bonus or through her class bonuses.
