Galand is an elite fighter for the Demon Clan and was made a member of the Ten Commandments. He possesses an uncanny battle sense that allows him to gauge the strength of his foes, this serves him well since he hungers for battle and competition. Galand is also known for his incredible physical strength and extreme durability. Of the Ten Commandments that he works with he is closest to Melascula, which he is seen partnering up with the most. Fearsome strength coupled with a combat six sense and sadist nature makes Galand a deadly threat to all that face off against him.

Str 16 Dex 14 Con 16 Int 12 Wis 8 Cha 8 (after racial and feat mod)

Class Fighter 5 (Eldritch Knight)/Barbarian 1

The three things that I wanted to achieve in this build are:

  1. Massive Jumps.
  2. Polearm Skills Unleashed.
  3. Tough as Nails

Background

For Background, I chose Mercenary Veteran for him. He gains the skills Persuasion, Arcana, Tool Proficiencies of Vehicles (Land) and Dice Set, and the Background Feature of Mercenary Life.

Race

For the race, I chose Warforged for Garland since he is the armor that is presented to the world. With this race, he gains +2 Con, +1 Str, Constructed Resilience, Sentry’s Rest, Integrated Protection, and Specialized Design skills of Athletics and Smith’s Tools. The key parts are Constructed Resilience and Integrated Protection since these enhance his durability to a variety of effects while gaining an extra +1 to AC.

Class

Galand’s class breakdown is a combination of two classes, Fighter 5 (Eldritch Knight)/Barbarian 1. It is with these classes that he gains the ability to Jump high and far, the ability to increase his damage and Athletics skills, and increased polearm usage. It is with these classes that he is capable of surviving a ton of damage, unleashing a load of attacks, and advantage of Str checks and savings throws. This combination of classes is the best attempt to consolidate his abilities and talents at this level.

Fighter 1 is starting class for Galand. This class gives him the skills of Insight, Perception, Fighting Style of Great Weapon Fighting, and Second Wind.

Fighter 2 is where he picks up Action Surge. Now he gains an extra action in combat.

Fighter 3 is the level where he becomes Eldritch Knight. With this class, he gains Spellcasting and the Weapon Bond feature. Weapon Bond allows Galand to summon weapons to his hand as well as never being able to be disarmed.

Fighter 4 is the level where Galand picks up the Feat Polearm Master. Polearm Master gives him a second attack with the butt of the Polearm. He also can provoke an opportunity attack when they get within reach.

Fighter 5 is where he gains Extra Attack. Now he can get three attacks a round or six with Action Surge.

Barbarian 1 is the last level for Galand’s build. With this level, he gains Rage and Unarmored Defense. Now his AC is increased by the Con modifier and the powers of Rage.

With full use of Galand’s powers she can perform the following techniques via spells and abilities:

Critical Over- Barbarian Rage

Wretched Scatter Strike- Jump spell + Movement + Action Surge + Full suite of attacks

Chaotic Judgment- Full suite of actions + Action Surge (six attacks in the round)

Critical Strike- Booming Blade

This combination of feats, stats, and spells makes this DND build of Galand the Truth a critical threat to the lives of his enemies in Six levels or Less.
