Avir “Thunderstorm” Quin, was a rowdy young pixie, gifted with psionic ability, who enjoyed settling his disputes with others in a friendly fistfight. He would always wind up getting a black eye now and then, but he won a lot more fights than he lost. Once war came to his forest he quickly joined the combined forces of his realm and went to war against dark forces that arrayed against them. After a brutal battle, he was knocked unconscious and feared lost to the enemy. When he awoke he was inside of a lavish space and was greeted by a Djinni who offered him a choice of accepting a pact with him or being sent back outside. Taking a shot of whiskey, Avir laughed and accepted the pact with a hardy handshake. Now he levels his fist and spells against the enemies of the forest and enjoys a hard-fought battle with a bit of light sparring.

Str 16 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 12 Wis 8 Cha 13 (racial and feat adjustment)

The three things that I wanted to achieve with this build are:

  1. Potent Punching Power.
  2. Combinations of Magic and Psionic.
  3. Flights of Fancy and Trickery.

Race

For the Race of this build, I went with Fairy. This race gives him the creature type of Fey, Fairy Magic, and Flight.

Background

For Background I chose Soldier. This gives him Athletics, Intimidation, Tool Proficiencies of Vehicles (Land) and Dice Set, and the Background Feature of Military Rank.

Class

For the Class makeup of this build, I went Warlock 1(The Genie)/Fighter 5 (Psi Warrior). This combination of classes gives him multiple options of damage in a fight, defensive damage reduction, various tricks to use in battle, and a comfortable resting spot. This build is capable of standing toe to toe with any foe at any range.

Warlock 1 is the beginning of this build with the skills of Deception and Investigation, Pact Magic, and Genie’s Vessel.

From there he becomes a Fighter.

Fighter 1 gives Avir the Fighting Style-Unarmed Fighting and Second Wind.

Fighter 2 is where he picks up Action Surge. Now, he can get two attacks in one turn.

Fighter 3 is the level he becomes a Psi Warrior. It is here where he gains Psionic Energy dice to either create a protective field, add extra force damage or move an object or willing creature as an action.

Fighter 4 gifts him with the feat called Crusher. This gives her an increase to Str, move a creature 5 feet away, and the ability to give every advantage on a foe after you land a critical strike.

Fighter 5 is the final level for Avir with the Class Feature of Extra Attack. Now he can get two attacks a round or four with the use of action surge. He also increases his Psionic Energy die to d8s now.

With this combination of skills, feat, racial traits, and class features he can fly, attack with multiple types of powers and abilities, decrease incoming damage on himself or his friends, and comfortable home on the go.
