Azure has been trained since a child to act as an enforcer for the criminal guild called Crimson Skies. Trained in the skills of healing and harm she is one of their up and coming enforcers. She keeps her skills sharp by adventuring, aiding adventure parties when she is not working for her guild. She is as agile as a spring breeze and as destructive as a thunderstorm when her employers need her to be.
Azure
Race: Air Genasi, +1 Dex, +1 Con, Darkvision, Unending Breath, Mingle with the Wind
Stats (27- point buy)
Str 8 Dex 15 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 15 Cha 10 (base stats)
Str 8 Dex 16 Con 16 Int 8 Wis 15 Cha 10 (racial and feat adjustment)
The three things that I wanted to achieve with this build are:
- Leaf on the wind.
- To Heal or to Harm.
- Silent but Deadly.
Race
For the Race of this build I went with Air Genasi. This race gives her Darkvision, Unending Breath, Mingle with the Wind and the language Primordial.
Background
For Background I chose Criminal for her. This gives her the skills of Deception, Perception, Thieves’ Tools, Dice Set and the Background Feature of Criminal Contact.
Class
For the Class make up of this build I went Monk 6 (Way of Mercy). With this class she gains the skills of Medicine, the ability to heal or dismantle a friend or foe depending on what she needs for the job. This allows her to support her team as an off healer or debuffer by giving foes the poisoned condition. That coupled with her skills and racial abilities gives her access to any situation and blend in until it is time to strike.
Monk 1 starts off her build with the skills of Athletics, Stealth, Alchemist’s Supplies, Unarmored Defense and Martial Arts.
Monk 2 gives her access to Ki and Unarmored Movement for greater movement around the battlefield.
Monk 3 is where she is given her training in the Monastic Tradition of the Way of Mercy. This is where she picks up Hand of Healing, Hand of Harm, Implements of Mercy and Deflect Missiles. Now she can inflict necrotic damage, heal, reduce damage from ranged attacks, and has the skills of Insight and Medicine.
Monk 4 is where she picks up Slow Fall and the feat Eldritch Adept: Mask of Many Faces. (updated from Misty Visions)
Monk 5 is where she picks up Extra Attack and Stunning Strike. Now she gains the potential to heal or hurt with more attacks and cause the status effect of stun to their foe as well.
Monk 6 is the last level of this build with Ki-Empowered Strikes, Unarmored Movement increase and Physician’s Touch. Now she can damage beings that are hurt by magic attacks, move faster with an extra 15 feet of movement, heal status effects and conditions, and inflict the poisoned condition with no save.
With this combination of skills, feat and class features she now has access to inflicting multiple status effects, healing her allies and curing them of status effects and the ability to extricate herself from any situation.
