Rare is the wood elf that travels the path of reckless battle fury. Rarer still is the wood elf that enters into battle with no weapons besides her enemies battered and broken bodies. Leora is one such elf who uses her enemies as weapons of destruction, all while channeling a radiant light that burnishes those that remain.

Race: Wood Elf, +2 Dex, +1 Wis, Darkvision, Keen Senses, Fey Ancestry, Trance, Elf Weapon Training , Fleet of Foot, Mask of the Wild
Stats (27 Point Buy)
Str 15 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 11 Cha 9 (base stats)
Str 16 Dex 16 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 12 Cha 9 (racial and feat adjustment)
The three things that I wanted to achieve with this build are:
- Divine Fury Power
- Capable fisticuffs of destruction.
- Using enemies as improvised weapons.
For Race of this build I went Wood Elf. Wood Elf gives you a host of abilities for thriving in the wilds. Keen Senses gives you perception as a skill. Fleet of Foot gives you a 35 foot movement speed, becoming 70 on a dash action. Mask of the Wild allows you to hide while lightly obscured in natural environments. All of which make you perfect for ambushing foes in the great outdoors.
For Background I chose Outlander. This background further increases her explorer abilities with the skills of Stealth and Insight. For Tool Proficiency I took hand drum. The Extra language is Giant. The Wanderer feature will make it so she is rarely at a loss for food or finding her way in environs.
For the Class make up of this build I went with Barbarian 5 (Path of the Zealot)/Fighter 1. Barbarian to represent her primal divine fury while one level in fighter will help to hone her fisticuffs into a better unarmed fighter when without an enemy or object to hurl.
Barbarian 1 is the starting class for Leora. With this level she gains Athletics and Survival skills. She also gains the power of Rage and Unarmored Defense. Rage gifts her the ability to do more damage, advantage on Str checks and saving throws, and resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage.
Fighter 1 is where she picks up her signature fighting style of Unarmed Fighting and Second Wind. The Unarmed Fighting style gives her an increase in unarmed damage and you can cause an extra 1d4 to a grappled creature. Second Wind allows her to heal slightly when in the midst of combat.
We then swing back to Barbarian for the rest of the build. Barbarian 2 gives her the abilities of Reckless Attack and Danger Sense. Reckless Attack gives her advantage on attacks using Str as well as your enemies until your next turn. Danger Sense gives you Dex advantage for traps and spells that you can see.
Barbarian 3 is where she becomes a radiant damage gifter. If you want you can also go necrotic damage instead but not for this build. Warrior of the Gods makes it easier to be brought back to life with the caster not needing material components to do so.
Barbarian 4 grants her a feat that completes this build with Tavern Brawler. She becomes proficient with improvised weapons, and when you hit a creature with either an unarmed strike or improvised weapon you can grapple as a bonus action. The best part is if you are unarmed you can grapple two enemies at the same time.
Barbarian 5 capstones her build with Extra attack and Fast Movement. Extra Attack gives you two attacks instead of one with the Attack action. Fast Movement gifts her with another ten feet of movement, bring her to 45 as her walking speed.
With Extra attack she can hit an enemy twice, bonus action to grapple and move the enemy half her walking speed away from help. From there its just piling on the extra damage with radiant, grapple, rage and then use their body to attack their friends.
Spells
None besides barbarian godly powers.
Equipment
Standard Barbarian Equipment. I added a whip as her melee weapon since it gives her range without throwing her weapon away. Giant Strength potions and Giant Belts are something you want in your future.
